Inspired by Christa Welty
Hello all! This is my official first post on my new blog! I feel so excited. I feel kind of like a virgin being unvirginized. I am not sure if that is a word or not, but I am an English major so it doesn't really matter. I can make up words and people think I am smart. Most of the time, though, I have no idea what I am talking about.
I guess the first think I will do is tell you about myself. I am a recent graduate from Cornerstone University, a small college in Grand Rapids, MI. I am also a recently employed English teacher at a small school in Vermont. I like M&Ms, Pepsi, and Oreos. I love using words such as "like" and "random". Future goals include speech writing for a future president of the US of A, having 8+ children, and deep frying a turkey. I also plan to become a screenwriter for JAG. The producers don't know this yet. So, if you happen to be a producer for JAG... please hire me now. If you happen to know a producer from JAG, please pick up the phone and call them now. Finally, if you happen to have recently accidently run over a producer from JAG, please give them CPR and then tell them about me when they are semi-conscious. Most likely, they won't want to hear about me when they are fully conscious. Most of my own friends don't want to hear about me when they are fully conscious.
Finally, I would like to dedicate this post to Christa Welty, my hero. She is one of my best friends and the coolest person I know who likes Anne Sofie and Julie Andrews. She also gets my humor.
I would also like to dedicate this entry to Chadd Wheat who has no idea who I am. He is the coolest writer ever and I am constantly inspired by his humor and umm... well, really just his humor. I don't know if this is legal, so if your name is Chadd Wheat and you are reading this please don't sue me, but you really should check out his site: www.chaddwheat.net. He is the best!
Okay, I am going to go come up with some more randomness to write for the next time by watching Who's Line Is It Anyway.
