I hate... hate... HATE

People that are anal about cell phones. That said, I am choosing to be understanding of those who don't understand the concept of GRACE...

I am thinking about the future book that I am going to write...

Here are some future titles for my book that I will one day write:

1. Why library school makes me want to stick a pen in my eye
2. Collection development bites
3. Why I never have time to write because I am always reading
4. Sleep?
5. 99 ways to read five books/night
6. Two calendars, because one just isn't enough
7. Steven Covey's got nothing on me
8. How to listen to a book, type a thirty page paper, and do my nails while sitting in a traffic jam
9. Parking sucks

And coming to a bookstore near you...

10. How to swim from Milwaukee to Grand Rapids: Great stress relievers for seriously overworked graduate students.

Nah, it really is all in jest. And for those of you who still read this, I hope to post some pictures in the near future, just for the heck of it. Actually, posting pictures allows me to avoid acknowledging that blasted fifteen page paper I have coming up. Note: that is being nice. In my head I am throwing a temper tantrum. Yes, I know I signed up for this whole creative writing thing, but in less than one week, it is going to be real--I don't know if I am ready for it.

On a less depressing note: U of M kicked Notre Dame butt! Hail to the victors...!

Yes, yes, life in Milwaukee has officially started to be on the upswing of things. I still don't quite have my schedule down, namely because it is so different on each day, but that will come. I have started to make some new and interesting friends, including, but not limited to: The "CW" group (creative writing), random fat squirrels that attempt to attack me on a daily basis as I walk to the library, and friends from Intervarsity. All in all, I am having a grand 'ol time.

Now it is time for the event I like to call, "new and interesting facts about Milwaukee and thereabouts"...

1. People call waterfountains "bubblers".
2. They have no Michigan turns!
3. I am a minority.
4. My name is a minority. I have yet to meet another Sarah! Amazing, eh?
5. I feel like I am being watched... hmm...

Okay, time for more reading! Did I tell you how much I love reading 12.7 chapters everyday? The .7 is required... the other .3 is not required but generally there is at least a 356 page paper (MLA and APA formats combined with footnotes, endnotes, and eighth notes on those .3 pages that are considered "optional". In other words, "Grad school is serioulsy kicking my butt!" But, I have said that more than once to multiple people who still read this blog...

Have a great day and don't forget to make your bed!
